Nat King Cole - Orange Colored Sky

When out of an orange-colored sky,
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
Wonderful you came by.
I was humming a tune, drinking in sunshine,
When out of that orange-colored view
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
I got a look at you.
One look and I yelled "Timber"
"Watch out for flying glass"
Cause the ceiling fell in and the bottom fell out,
I went into a spin and I started to shout,
"I've been hit, This is it, This is it, I've been hit!"
I was walking along, minding my business,
When love came and hit me in the eye,
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
Out of an orange colored-sky.
(Musical Interlude)
One look and I yelled "Timber"
"Watch out for flying glass"
Cause the ceiling fell in and the bottom fell out,
I went into a spin and I started to shout,
"I've been hit, this is it, this is it, I've been hit!"
I was walking along, minding my business,
When love came and hit me in the eye
Flash! Bam! Alakazam!
Out of and orange-colored, purple-striped, pretty green polka-dot sky
Flash! Bam! Alakazam! and goodbye!
(Spoken)Wow, I thought love was much softer than that.
What a most disturbing sound!

I was in the Super Duper Mart, quiet as could be when this song came on. I'd heard it a few times before, but I was on edge. The chorus kicked in, which made me jump and fire off a shot. Woke up every ghoul in the vicinity.

I'm almost positive it goes "I've been hit. This is it. This is it. I-T, IT!"

I like how this song describes love as being sweet and joyous, but at the same time, terrifying and unexpected.

This song made me shit myself the first time I heard it. I was raiding a ghoul-infested building and the shouting put me into a cardiac arrest

Hearing this on the radio as a kid in 1950, it was unusual.. contrasting the mellow jazz voice of Nat King Cole & the jarring voices & beat of Stan Kenton..Love can be UNSETTLING!! Great tune from Milton Delugg & Willie Stein..
-
Jazz and fallout 4 make a great couple :D

In the in-game radio, the whole music is pretty soft but the FLASH! BAM! ALAKAZAM! part is ultra loud. Made me jump a few times :O
