So sad for Colorado. Firefighter leaders have explained they have requested additional personnel, but due to extremely limited resources due to numerous fires across multiple states in the west, fire personnel are stressed to the max. The heat alone, even just one day of work is overwhelming, yet these men and women are putting in multiple days with very little sleep, extreme, dehydration, heavy weights, and dangerous conditions. Add in altitude. They are doing a great job! Please stop with the criticism. You do not know what you’re talking about if you or your loved ones haven’t experienced the work firsthand.
