This was literally a game mode in "NBA 10 The Inside"! You play neighboring teams to take their land and expand. Such a fun mode!

This was actually a mode in an old NBA game called NBA 09: The Inside, but it was called Conquest Mode. One of the best features I've ever seen in an NBA game, idk why no one has attempted to bring it back.
