How to Fix a Portable Air Conditioner that doesn't blow cold air the EASY WAY!

I got a free "broken" air conditioner and made it work perfectly with this method. I can't thank you enough!

You are funny, you are so enthusiastic! Love it. Mine quit cooling this year think I'll pull it apart and see what I can find. I actually save money using it. I keep it in my bedroom and turn the central ac way up and the portable way down. It cut $10 off my bill every month. Not huge but I'll take anything I can get!

Hi.I have power on all settings but when the cooler kicks in after a few minutes for the air con , the noise is horrendous.Sounds like drilling! Any suggestions much appreciated . Love your video, I’m glad it worked for you😁

Thanks for the tip I have two not working 1 was mine and the other one was free from FB. Since you got this one working can you show how you rigged up the exhaust hose since you dont show one. The one i got for free did not come with the exhaust hose. I will try to update when i try this hose on both of them

i found one of these that looks just like this but its a kenmore and is white but otherwise it looks identical. the fan works fine but i think the compressor might be screwed. i plugged it in and at first it was cold but then it tripped the circuit breaker. after trying a different room, it still runs but wont get cold. i dont feel any air coming out the back vent either. any suggestions? does it sound like a compressor issue? is it possible that the one outlet is connected to too many other outlets and cant handle an AC or is it just the ac not working correctly? is it fixable or should i throw it back to the trash? also i had no idea i could hose off an AC without ruining it. i have a few window ones that are 20 years old and still work believe it or not but are pretty dirty. can i do the same thing with those? just take them outside and blast them with a hose? sorry for so many questions lol. Ok quick update, i turned it on again and it was working but i also noticed that the exhaust fan in the back doesnt work and wont blow any air out. I w order if that caused it to over heat and trip the breaker. It looks so clean in there though. Any ways of how i can get the fan to work?

Do you think you can hose off any portable a/c unit like that? I bought a used Sharp that seems to be a dud so I want to try this cleaning method. Max time to allow it to dry is???

I have a 2016 unit that just gave me an error code FO (still have my manual and I keep it cleaned) no pets etc. FO code says refrigerant is leaking or system is blocked. So I’m not sure if I should take the backing off and look to see if there’s any blockages or if there’s a way to snake a pipe cleaner through? and if it is the Freon is it rechargeable? Thank you. Freon type is R-410A 18.3oz

Bought a GE 8500 btu portable ac/fan/dehumidifier/heat and used it for about 2 months at the end of last summer and it cooled fine. It worked twice after switching it to heat this past winter and then stopped heating although it’s still blowing air. Trying to run the ac now and it appears to only be the fan with no cold air. Not sure if I should use the warranty or if it’s something simple

I have a DeLonghi unit that stopped blowing cold air last year. It still blows air but I guess the compressor never kicks in anymore. The couple weeks leading up to that happening, it was making like a metal clicking noise sometimes when it was running and I also had to drain the condensation tank like crazy. Do you think hosing it down will work? I heard that if it's a problem with the compressor than it's pretty much junk and there's not much you can do, is that true?

Nice video, I have the same brand and they look similar. My question to you or anyone.My unit turns on but when it starts to cool I hear a sound then it shuts off. Then I have to unplug it and plug back in. Works for for a minute or 2, then shuts off again when it starts to cool. Thank you

i Have a problem and i'm wondering if you can help out. i have a Gree 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner, Heater, Dehumidifier, Fan and i'm trying to get it to run cold air without it stopping. every time i put it on cold and turn on the temp to the max and it cant last 5 minutes without it suddenly stopping. I was trying to see if i can drain the water from it but the water isn't coming out. Also it says dry and i don't know what that means. So im basically stuck and wondering thru Youtube looking at ways to fix portable air conditioner. please let me know what to do
