Thank you. Esther is a model of courage, humbleness and obedience to the Lord to save her people. May every woman aim to live her life as Esther.

Just sitting here inspired and with goose bumps. I'm not Jewish, but the Jewish roots of the Gospel just paint such a clear path to Yeshua as the promised Messiah. And through Him and these stories that point towards Him, we can trust in the promises of God for the future. God bless this ministry:)

Thank you for this - excellent as always! I think it's amazing that only two books in Scripture are named after women - one a Gentile among Jews, and the other a Jew among Gentiles.
  • I made hamantaschen cookies & shared the story of Mordecai & Esther with my 6 & 2 yo grand babies. I haven’t done that since their mama was 2. My grandson already knew most of the story. It was so awesome. Blessings.
  • Thank you for this wonderful explanation and cross references. I’m Canadian and I’ve been in a weird kind of state of mourning since our Prime Minister imposed, few weeks ago, a draconian Emergency Act on it’s own people. In any case, listening to your message gave me such a renewed sense of Hope, focus and purpose. GOD is so awe-mazing!! Thank you One for Israel, your ministry is invaluable on so many levels!

I love the book of Esther!! Vasti was called but did not show up , Esther was not called but showed her self to the King!! John 1:11 “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.”
  • Thanks for the interesting comparison to Joseph. I love how God flips the script. A queen will not come at the request of a king to his feast at the start. A king will come at a queen's request to her feast at the end twice. Esther comes under the curse of the law to save her people, a wonderful picture of Jesus atonement.
  • Thank you Dr Seth Postell for another excellent testimonial on the book of Esther and Morddcai. There is hope for the Jewish people and all nations 🙏 . Chag Purim Sameach 🙂
  • You took me back to my 9yr old self - I too was desolate Aslan was killed...I didn't understand. 20 years later Christ's life, death and resurection became real to me ... Hallelujah Lord Jesus Christ - Maranatha!!!

I always enjoy teachings and insights by Dr. Seth Postell. His breakdown of Esther is rich and profound. As a writer myself, I really appreciate him bringing in literary aspects and themes to the Bible writings because it opens up another dimension of understanding. Brilliant!
  • Thank you so much. You have taken a book that I've always loved reading, and just opened a whole new perspective on it's interpretation.

The story of Esther is one of my favorites.
  • Love Dr. Postell’s teachings. I took a class with him and it wasn’t just getting a bunch of information but learning to look for the hidden gems of the Word by analyzing the structure of the text. So thankful for One For Israel.

Very encouraging, especially at this time in our history. Thank you.
  • Thank you, once again for an insightful lesson full of so many layers of meaning, looking back to Genesis, and forward to the crucifixion. Our hearts were filled with worship, as we see the sovereign hand of our Lord, working in every detail in the lives of Esther and Mordecai in the saving of his chosen ones!
