The natural look with the rocks really will make this garden bed pop out when the plants take hold. It's great fertile soil especially with the char ๐Thanks for sharing your garden tour.

Oh my goodness! What a piece of heaven that view is. Gorgeous! Great idea to use the firepit as a home for wildflowers and a butterfly paradise. Simply beautiful! ๐บ๐

What a cute idea! I wish I had more rocks in the yard. I think something like that would look nice in our yard. Beautiful cat, rolling in the dirt, reminds me of something that kitten would do ๐ The vegetable plants look great too, loved the bell pepper, looking so healthy.๐ฅฐ

I hope some wildflowers grow. I planted a packet I got from Mom a few years back and they're growing. It's on the west side next to the house and gets real hot there. I hope they love it, thrive and reseed themselves!! I love that you put the lilac near your door. We have a volunteer lilac by our back door, it's only given us blossoms a couple of times and now it needs to be cut back. Farmer Jim ๐ will take care of that!

Hi Barby! I say it everytime, but I love your property so much. The view is gorgeous! Good idea to plant some flowers in the fire pit area. I hope you attract lots of butterflies! Your plants look great! Youโll definitely get a watermelon! Have a wonderful night! ๐ค โค

Hi Barby. ๐๐ Pretty Lupines. They may cross pollinate?Smokey looks comfy & taking in the beautiful view on the bench. LOL A butterfly garden will be lovely. I hope the Seeds take & grow. It sounds like a lot of nice flowers.I just Googled what plants would grow well in ash. It says many plants can grow well in soil with wood ash which is valuable soil amendment that can increase soil PH & provide nutrients for plants.Who knew? LOL They listed citrus trees, roses, & lavender, pink Hydrangeas, lilacs, and peonies. Anything apparently likes more alkaline soil.I think I would add in a little soil with it though. Interesting. Hope you are having a nice Saturday ๐๐๐ฉท
