Extensive damage after #hurricaneberyl directly hit #carriacou #grenada as a very powerful Category 4. The island is without power, coms and nearly every home is damaged or destroyed. I covered as much ground as I could with the drone.

Sorry for the sloppy edit, just trying to get stuff uploaded at this point.

Devastating emotional footage. My heart goes out to all who are dazed and suffering. As a Cat 4 (Hurricane Maria) survivor, there is light after the darkness and calm after the storm. You survived.🙏🙏

Take it from someone that experienced Hurricane Maria (cat 5) a few years ago, I know that feeling after the hurricane leaves. Wishing all the people affected by this force of nature a quick bounce back. PS> the occurrence was so devastating I remember having a trauma response hearing rain fall on the roof at night years later.

Carriacou is such a beautiful island with beautiful and kind hearted people. It’s amazing how you can still see her beauty peeking through the devastation. My heart hurts for the people of Carriacou and PM as well as SVG and Grenada.
