Is Call of the Wild THE ANGLER - WORTH IT?!? GAME REVIEW

Im enjoying it and im sure theres more to comr As a serious irl fisherman this is a must buy

Id love to see the Angler, the Hunter and farm simulator all joined together as one game. This way you can hunt and fish on the same game along with putting food plots and deer feeders out .

I used to play a game called Reel Fishing 2 back in the PS1 era. I was still a kid and I never came across that game again. You could go to different locations and catch fish, put them in your aquariums and it was simply majestic. No fishing game ever came close to it.

They need to add a lodge to save your fish like in the hunter. It makes the grind worth it being able to show off your trophies

Great video Lady!!! I started playing on Playstation last Tuesday. I am currently level 20, just got that today. I love the game and the missions, including looking for Big Foot. I won't spoil it for those who haven't done that mission. I wish EW would fix the crashes. I would crash at least 2 to 3 times before the game would play well. I am assuming since they have different community servers, that you have to find one that won't make you crash. Today, I chose to turn off multiplayer and crossplay and never crashed once.

I was skeptical about getting this game. I bought it yesterday & I can’t stop playing it. I have it on ps5 & didn’t think it would utilize the haptic feedback & adaptive triggers on the ps5 controller. Boy was I wrong. You can feel the fish fighting against you as your triggers get tighter & you feel the tugging. That feature alone, plus the look of it all is incredible. The most fun fishing game I’ve played. I wish they had adaptive triggers & haptic feedback on The Hunter too.

I definitely don’t regret getting it, I’ve had fun on it! I’m so happy it’s crossplay too! 🎉

Thank for this review i have Hunter call of the Wild. On console and this was just released on PS5. And needed another game i could relax to. And takea break from adventure titles. You made oull the trigger and really been enjoying it.

The game already seems like an excellent game to me nowadays, but one of the things that I still miss is not having the animation of us taking the fish out of the water, because that cut that takes place and the fish appears in the character's hand is Kind of a bummer for me, I would really like to finish "fighting" with the fish and actually get the fish out of the water. But otherwise the game is making excellent progress.

Almost lost it when I saw it was Epic's free weekly game. Been eyeing this for at least six months and am glad I waited. So far I'm hooked, and I'll definitely be picking up any additional DLC they add.

I just bought it this week and I'm really enjoying it. Like The Hunter, it takes some time to figure it out but it's a lot of fun. I already caught a diamond.

I played fishing games a lot, like Russian Fishing4, fishing planet, etc. To me, The Angler has the most beautiful map and I enjoy roaming and fishing elements bind together, also easy to grind for new gears, although the fishing itself may need some further tweaks. But consider the price and future update, it worth a try.🙂

I have also just started , Level 8 now and Really Liking it , Graphics are Great !....but there seemed to be a few Multi- Player Problems, Which I'm sure will be fixed. Awesome Video Lady ! :_ladylove:

No reviews mention the free dlc tackle pack. It gives you access to high end bait caster rods and reels early on, which will save you a ton of money coming up through the levels that you can use on backpack / tackle box expansions.

Loving the game, graphics are amazing and you can't beat the open world experience, there are many things I'd like to see added but EW is definetly on track in the right direction since the evolution update!

I’d love to try this game out sometime! Though I might wait until they update the game to have a trophy lodge because I love looking at my trophies
