Everybody is talking about COPPA, from Ian Corzine, to LegalEagle, and even Game Theorists ! Will Your Favorite Channel Survive 2020? (COPPA) YouTubers were subject to the adpocalypse in 2017 after the whole Pewdiepie incident happened, and now it's looking like COPPA and the FTC is going to shake YouTube again.

Here are my thoughts on COPPA...especially regarding that $42,530 POSSIBLE FINE!!!!

My daughter is Autistic and relies on YouTube for her comfort. This really sucks if you tube has to shut down.

This is insane...I'm really getting upset and mad that this is happening! I'm not a kid or young adult, I'm almost 48 years old and I watch so much YouTube! I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and watching your videos and a lot of other ones get me through the day. They give me something to look forward to. I know if they help me they would definitely help kids and young adults. This isn't good, I for one don't want to lose my escape. Thanks for sharing this information with us Kazzy!

It's actually YouTube's fault because there is supposed to be a 3rd category. And that is for your General audiences, and that is somewhere in the coppa laws.

Between this and YouTube not allowing people to comment on videos involving kids in them which makes me more mad... I think is stupid. I'm starting to give up on youtube. YouTube just needs to leave YouTube alone and let people enjoy YouTube like it was a long time ago
