artifical intelligence's greatest challenge: design a less ridiculous toupee for ray kurzweil

4:40 I am so excited for the use of AI in the medical field. I am tired of waiting months for a doctor’s appointment and huge medical bills. Healthcare should be accessible and affordable.

The is the like when they told me Santa is real but it wasn’t my parents while I’m sleeping, exciting times

Hate it when Ray says he has been in AI for 61 years. But those old AI not using SCD and back-prob are just darn primitive and could not scale nor learn based on LLM type training. Thus only in the last 8 years, the tech that could build AGI was discovered. Ilya already seen AGI, that is why he is focusing on ASI now.....

Once the discussion became about mRNA that was enough for me
  • I know that most miss understand knowledge . Especially what separates us from the general name and ordering of ancient world who couldn't dig out subjective complexities within. it will be very cool streamlining to find test worthy manipulation of molecular structure & bonds to help find cost effective extraction of low concentration of minerals from obstacles in the middle of nowhere usa. It may help us articulate and test the 3rd line of physics the most fundamental complexities of it all

8:12 The thousands of people who suffered life-changing side-effects are super appreciative, I’m sure.

This is amazing! Can a machine answer, Why do people grow old and die? Thank you in advance. Valery Chuprin

Ray Kurzweil sounds like Ben Goertzel. Or the other way around.

I just want an AI with a better attention span and memory, less prone to hallucination.

There are good, bad and ugly scenarios. These are the mostly the good ones.

Faster… stronger… bigger… But better? Where are moral considerations here? Are we going to be happier? Is the world going to be more humane and just? Questions never discussed by tech gurus…

gpt 3 launched 2020 and was ok,,,2025 it will be actually good and cheap and fast. Video AI launched 2024 so by 2029 it will be good fast and cheap?

You are misspelling the last name of Ilya. This may cost you money.
