I was accidentally there when visiting this road on my trip to Romania. They closed off the road and no one could leave the top of the mountain. Glad they did because I witnessed one of the coolest things in my life.

Cheers to the camera guys who had to wake up early, travel hours to find a best location for a 2 second shot of a car blazing past, then head home hours back. Perhaps walk for miles since theres no parking to be found anywhere near

With the EVO being cancelled, this car holds the torch for both STIs and EVOs legacies. Japanese 4 cylinder turbo AWD rocks. Best WRC car

4:00 to 4:11 is on replay, I play it from time to time and it just makes me happy. The way the car is planted on the ground, the face shredding grip, unique in the car industry. This record won't go down easily. I'll return on this clip after I'll buy a Subaru. Definitely, this company deserves more sales and recognition because it's light years ahead of european cars in some aspects(not all).

Prodrive & Subaru. Imagine if they came back to the WRC. They have unfinished business there. Love seeing the old style number plate on the bumper like it was last in 2001. It's like a modern S7. Good to see Tommo still involved as well!

Videos like this from Subaru were part of the reason I bought a 2019 STI before cars like it disappear forever. One year later I am still happy I did.

I’ve always been a proud Subie owner and these videos bring me back to that feeling of my first STI test drive where I instantly fell in love. I’d love to see the full onboard lap especially with Mark narrating like he did on the Isle of Man record run. See the weight transfer and hearing the car as it runs through this road is other worldly!
