  • What a nice gesture that was to your mates. It was obvious from it that they mattered to you.
  • Hi, I came across this video by accident, watched it and enjoyed the content and subscribed. I have fished most of New Zealandā€™s South Island and most of the Taupo and Rotorua lakes and rivers. Although I have flown and driven over the areas you must be hunting in I have wondered about the possibilities of fishing the rivers I drove across but never gave a thought about hunting in the bush for deer or pigs. I grew up hunting on the great plains of The Rift Valley and the only time I spent hunting in the bush was as a soldier and have had no interest in going back to my days of nightmares! I watched your aerial shots with great interest, often stopping to enlarge the shot for detail. I opened up the DOC map to understand better the terrain that you were working in. Really enjoyed your video and commentary as at the age of 85, the days of taking on that type of trekking to get to a good fishing spot are over for me, but its good to see you taking on those steep hills! I subscribe to Rogee as his long distance shot hunting is a bit like our sniper techniques of the past. I look forward to more of your hunting videos or fishing ones. Cheers mate. Harera
