The BEST thing is that she achieved this by people(fans, obsessed Stans, general public, casual listeners, her haters etc) actually listening to her songs, and it's not JUST CERTAIN fans mindlessly streaming it JUST to get a certain record like the obsessed stans do in k-pop. Swifties are a big fandom and quite obsessed with Taylor too, but I don't think they do these stunts that k-pop fandoms do to make their artist appear more popular than they actually are. I've seen k-fanclubs post on how to mass stream 24x7, make loops, make playlists, payola, bribe radio stations, etc all in order to break a record...it just feels inauthentic. In k-pop, I've seen fans order each other and make a schedule for streaming, even when they HATE the song that their favourite artist released. Like atleast swifties who hate particular songs(like ME!), they dont listen to it. That's the difference. Not saying there aren't any toxic swifties or that all k-pop fans are the same.

I recently became a swifty and she was my top artist this year. I am so incredibly proud of her and she literally deserves the world 😢🎉
