Everyone: Hong Chau's Vietnamese accent is so racist! Hong Chau: I'm Vietnamese
-
I'm 100% sure that I'm doing my own accent wrong.
-
imagine if he one day reveals his real accent and he's actually like a hardcore scot
-
As a non-native speaker, I can differentiate exactly two American accents: Southern and not-Southern. So this is super interesting!
-
Plot twist: this guy is actually Irish and is faking an American accent perfectly.
-
Jennifer Lawrence does what I call "a general nonexistent Eastern European accent"
-
The way that he deduced that Gustavo Fring fully learned English in Mexico is just wow. Kudos!
-
When he broke down the difference in inflection between Spanish and Italian while critiquing Penelope Cruz’s performance 😩I’m in love
-
you know someone's a linguist when they have favorite consonant sounds.
-
Am I the only one that would love to have my own accent examined like this?
-
Still laughing at how Michael Caine is pronounced like "my cocaine"

Kate Winslet did the best Australian accent I've ever seen. In normal speech she sounds like she's pretending to do an upper-class Melbourne accent. But in some scenes she "let's slip" her lower-class country Victoria accent. She even sounds like people did back in the 60's. 10/10 best Australian accent I've seen by far.

I really want this guy to help me master the Dr. Doofenshmirtz accent
-
You went wwwwaaaayyyyy too easy on Jennifer Lawrence.
-
It’s good to see Brendan Fraser getting back into the acting game. He’s had a rough time and he deserves happiness
-
he NEEDS to review just the accents in orphan black. one actress, tatiana maslany does ukrainian, californian, canadian, an english accent of someone raised by someone with a scottish accent, a ukrainian pretending to be canadian, and more. i would love to hear his thoughts on the hybrid accents.
-
He did NOT have to flex that hard when pronouncing Xhosa
-
I love how kind he is. He picks at the accents but more in a "let's learn" way then a "you suck way" He understands how hard it to do an accent that isn't natural to you. Love the video. Very insightful

I'd love to see more reviews of Brits doing American accents. I almost forgot Hugh Laurie was British when watching House. Also, you could do a whole episode on good vs bad Irish and Scottish accents.

As an Irish person watching so many actors fail at our accents, I think ours must be the hardest to nail. (We also have sooo many regional variants- so there really is no 'generic' irish accent). The only actor I've seen really nail it is Cate Blanchett in Veronica Guerin
