  • “Just because you’re living in an impoverished world, doesn’t mean people stopped making beautiful things” George Miller. You are a beautiful soul sir
  • Hard to believe that this guy made cute films such as "Babe" and "Happy Feet" and wild movies as the Mad Max saga. Pure legend.
  • @joecamps1119
I think I'm not alone in feeling I could listen to George Miller talk for hours, and thanks to the Furiosa press tour I have.
  • Arguably towards the end of his career, yet still so much youthfulness... his enthusiasm and excitement for the craft of filmmaking is contagious.
  • I can't get out of my head how the kindliest, friendliest looking grandpa-like character makes some of the most visceral, pulse-pounding spectacles of violence ever put to a big screen. And also Happy Feet and Babe Pig In The City.
  • @Internatube
Furiosa was an absolute SYMPHONY . Saw it last night and anytime someone revved their engines in the film, you could literally FEEL it reverberate in the theater walls. Such an absolute freaking blast, THANK you for bringing back movie magic Miller!
  • I love how George talks about Babe and Happy Feet with the same love and care as he talks about Mad Max. It's clear he doesn't think of these movies as less important or less deserving of being taken serious just because they were made for children. Really appreciate his approach to storytelling in all its forms! He is one of the greats!

This isn't just a Vanity Fair video; it's an invaluable lecture on cinema. George Miller's insights on visual storytelling and how technology has shaped his films are fascinating. Loved hearing about the evolution of "Mad Max" and his unique approach to making movies feel like visual music. Thank you for this!
  • Vanity fair: you will learn about the dark world of mad max and furiousa George Miller: In Babe, we made the little animals talk, and In happy feet we had dancing penguins!
  • @mcle6103
He's like a child in this talking about his own toys lol those smiles are so genuine
  • @dragonfruit89
I love how playful he is with and in his art. No intellectual self-importancy, Just pure fun and openness for ideas of others. So great!
  • @Knuuut
    George Miller is a treasure
  • Between Dune 2 and Furiosa it sure is a great year for the movies already.
  • I would expect a veteran filmmaker like him to hand over his precious franchise into someone else's hands, but here he is, pushing 80 and still the director of these movies, an absolute legend.
  • @lgerback34
Hats off to the VF art department for the folio they put together.
  • Even when/if Furiosa flops financially, I will always be thankful that an artist like George Miller was able to make all the brilliantly weird insane films that he has. A true visionary. Unfortunately thats not something thats very profitable nowadays, people only show up for IP films, and studios are unwilling to risk their money on original films. Well, no matter, at least Miller was able to make 5 of these fantastic Post-Apocalyptic action films, we can still cherish them when in a few years the movie industry is dead and buried
  • The Mad Max franchise is just so badass. The films are some of the most visually stunning in cinematic history.
  • @ciaolife
Furiosa was brilliant! Needs to be watched on the big screen
  • in a universe, in a galaxy, in this planet, in this point in time, I had the honor to live to see "fury road". Thank you George Miller.
