As a Blue Jays fan, I always knew Tulo was devastated by being traded to Toronto. He couldn't recover from the betrayal of trust and you could see it in his body language and demeanor at Toronto. He just looked like a fish out of water and his performance reflected that -- he was a shadow of his former self. It just goes to show, pro-athletes are human too.

I played against Tulo all the way from little league to high school. Dude was an absolute monster at SS and hitting, but he was also a pitcher then too. I swear once he threw a slider that was basically behind my body and it curved back into the strike zone. Will never forget that. I also had a buddy go 4-4 off him once in high school. Our HS coach always told us he was going to be a pro, but you never really knew back then...was glad to see him make the majors and have one hell of a career

It was a sad moment for when I heard about his retirement. I only discovered the game in 2013 and have been watching every season ever since. It is safe to say he was in his prime when I started watching baseball so he became a favorite of mine very quickly because of the plays he would make on the field. Thank you for the awesome moments Tulo!

Sheesh...had no idea how plagued by injury Tulo was! I feel that he was a perfect player for Bo to work with in the off-season. I think Chappy & Bo were working with him a coupla szns ago. Great vid!

Another great video! Prime Tulo was so good, so fun to watch
-
As a Jays fan since the inception of the franchise, I can honestly say... next to #1, he is #2 as SS in the history of the franchise. Too bad on the injuries... feel like we missed out watching a special player.

Getting treated to 3 - 0 Greenlight, Sportsesque, and Ludwig in a day is just what I needed

Came from the stream! A bunch of info in here I didn’t know! Good video

I lived in Toronto during those years. The city was electric. Tulo brought a sort of legitimacy to the club. He's one of my all time favorites.

Tulo could have been great, no doubt about it. In 2013 I sat in the left field stands at Citizens Bank Park. He hit a ball to left center that almost went into the second deck. It was wild. Injuries killed his career.

Met him in Houston at a travel ball tourney. A coach called us over and introduced me and my son to him. Needless to say he really didn’t want to be spoken to or bothered.

Every time the Rockies trade away their best players they push away the fans who have been there since day one. They need new owners bad!
