He could sing any genre but he loved gospel. That’s the root of what he was bought up on. You should check out his early stuff maybe hound dog live in 1956. His ability to mix genres will capture you even more. He was the real deal. Nice reaction 😀😀

Elvis first love was gospel . His record collection is full of blues and gospel .He love gospel quartets . If you listen to his unrealised home recordings it's mostly gospel . Elvis name has been tarnished so much after his death but thankfully utubers are finally fi ding out the acual truth about him
