I won a dance contest in 1970 in the Bronx, NY with a girl I had just met on the long LP version. I asked her to stay in one spot and I danced around her. I gave her the trophy and I took the cash. Those were the days. Thanks for sharing....

I saw Rare Earth live at Madison Square Garden. They opened for Sly and The Family Stone. When I realized the drummer was the singer I was blown away.

LOVE THIS!!! Im 62 now an still and always will love this music. Flashbacks listening to this album in my room with my black light posters on my wall and my lava lamp on and just laying back on my bed with a smile on my face and takin the best journey in my head to the beautiful sounds. thanks for putting this out for all of us youngsters to enjoy over and over again, and yes im 62 but its just a number : ) peace love and rare earth baby!!!

im 58 years old commenting from my son's account. He's 22 now and I remember being 10 years old when i first heard this song and to this day it still rocks my world. A song that lasts for 40 years and still resonates happiness is a testament to good music!
