Once Upon a December: which skirt works better?

As a historical inspired gown, sheer on top. As a cosplay of the animation, sparkles on top. But really, you can’t lose either way because the sheer on top adds a richness to the skirt that blends so well with the bodice, and the sparkles on top adds magic and movement. Enjoy the dress! It looks amazing!

I really thought i was wanna prefer the sparkles on top, but after seeing the second option, that’s my winner. Sparkles on the bottom for me😂

I was worried the sparkles wouldn't show under the sheer fabric and I'm glad that I was wrong! Sheer on top looks beautiful and looks perfect with the bodice.

Sparkles under sheer looks more like her dress in the movie, so that's the winner for me!

I like the sparkles under the yellow fabric.❤The yellow colour comes out much better whereas the sparkles on top of the yellow fabric steal a bit of the authenticity of Anastasija’s dress. I mean it is yellow afterall and not sparkly white. Thus I would suggest the sparkles to go under the yellow favric❤❤ Take care miss Asta Darling

Oh my gosh! Sparkles on the BOTTOM FOR SURE!!! The sheer layer on top is SOOOOOOOOO PRETTY and feels waaaaaay more like the OG! BTW, I LOVE this costume! You did a great job!!!

option two is way more elegant, it looks like there's not too much sparkles - and then you move and they pop!

Definitely sparkles on the bottom. Especially when you're swooshing the dress around it lets it stay more yellow, instead of just the sparkle layer swishing.

I personally like the sheer on top and sparkles underneath. You still get that glittery glow without it being too much.

I think that sparkles on top matches better with the sleeves, but I like the look of the sparkles on bottom better when just looking at the skirt. Either way it’s very pretty!

I think sparkles on the bottom, it makes the yellow look a lot nicer colour. It also looks closer to the animated with the sheer over the top, so it is just a hint of sparkles without muting the yellow. Really pretty!

I'm going with the sparkles on the bottom team. The color and the contrast of sleeves are just beautiful.

They are both beautiful, but ... I like sheer on top better. The fabric seems to drape better on top than the sparkle fabric does. I'm not sure that I've commented before, but I'm always amazed and delighted by your designs and execution. Living vicariously through you. 🥰

It's so hard to decide because it's gorgeous both ways. 😭 I can't help but think sparkles underneath looks more like flowy liquid like the animation which I've obsessed over since I was small. But the sparkles on top is so dazzling like it should be under stage lights or a dance floor. Maybe it could be a day to night transition without a real costume change!

Oh my gosh I love both!! I thought I would love the sparkes on top but actually I think in real life the sparkles beneath looks more like the animation ! GREAT IDEA that you did the layers separately so you can literally mix and match depending on your mood, thoughts, event style, etc! And also you can mix and match in different dresses because that is literally the perfect belle gold yellow skirt too ! ( is that the one that was on your belle dress? I fell in love with that skirt layer the second I saw it bc noone has been able to actually find the right yellow shade for her dress, they either go dull gold, green gold or neon or mustard yellow - none of which are close to the animation - but this delicate, light shiny silky fabric 100% is xxxx🎉 ❤💖💗💕😻😺💞
