    can anyone explain to me why the dunk contest isnt a game mode you can select in the main menu? i remember the days me and my friends would have a dunk contest and then the 3pt shootout, the two winners would play the all star game. good times.

    the dunk contest point is based on the difficulties, you choose hard the score would stay around 45-50 if you never miss the dunk. i won every dunk contest by spamming one hand free throw line dunk. get 50 everytime

    If you win the contest on 2K9 (don’t know about 2K8 or 10) a final boss player will show up unannounced and try to steal the glory from you
