  • "Once in a 1000 years storm" - that phrase needs to be put to sleep. Its once in 1000 years - until it happens again two or three years from now...

We always get flooding in Charleston,SC, from high tides and big rains like Debby. We are wayyyy below sea level here. We will be soaked but we will recover.

Big Oil knew this would be our reality many decades back. Kept lying for profit$
  • The coast lines are always a magnet for hurricanes because that's where they get the strongest.

We have seen those videos before, again and again for years, but reporters still prefer stand in the rain soaking wet on beaches to make the statement as if to say, "See, it is actually raining". Are we now getting to be ROBOTS?

It was a perfectly normal tropical storm here in Charleston SC. Hopefully this will be a nothing burger for all people north of us.

Monks Corner has an ARBY'S? I remember when all they had was TINY LUND'S FISH CAMP. I don't even recognize Summerville anymore. Got big over time.
  • And what if it’s not one in 1000 years? What if it happens again in the next couple months? Or next year? Then what? What will it take humans.

She's on the beach. Dope look. Stay safe.

Styrofoam blocks incorporated into the wheel wells, other body areas, along with an anchor might be in order.
  • We just had a beryl, what about the storm that starts with C ? And now we have Debby.
