Australia Wide Coaches Scania K310IB (Irizar i6)

Publicado 2022-09-02
Coaches are an important travel mode for many regional journeys, offering inter-town connections to many parts of New South Wales. As the first leg of my Melbourne trip, I started by taking the coach to Orange, and this Scania K310IB was my chariot for the journey.

All in all, Irizar make a very nice vehicle and for the 2 1/2 hour trip between Parkes and Orange, via here, there and everywhere, it was quite comfy. If only the frequency was a little better and a few more services operated directly via Henry Parkes Way, then it would be a much easier decision to choose this as a convenient way to get to Orange.

I used to travel on coaches in the past & their really a great away of taking you out to anywhere.& the comfort is good with the seatings & good curtain blinds to block the window from the sunlight on most times that it is bright sunny glare.

I have been on one before for an excursion it was a smooth ride the engine sounded really good
  • AWC is very good operation. Late model vehicles and high standards. You should also try Firefly Express’ overnight service to Melbourne.

Nice coverage! I used to drive this service and this was my least favourite in the fleet to drive, it's an absolute pig from a drivers perspective
