This group is the best. Candice Knight, the lead singer, has a distinctive voice, one that really appeals to me as it stands out and is so different of most female vocalists who do the high voice "gymnastics." Candice;s voice is full, and "earthy" and so different from the voices of so many female singers.

Ritchie Blackmore should set Tolkien poems to music. The Blackmore's Night style would fit it beautifully.

This was the first Blackmore's Night song I ever listened to and I fell instantly in love. When I play World of WArcraft and I'm hanging out in a tavern I always play Blackmore's Night as it is so suited.

I came here from watching "I saw three ships" for at least the 30th time. I have mentioned that the lead singer's voice is superb more than once and I've shared it on Facebook at least 3 times. I love that style of singing and playing. Now I watch this new to me video and find that she's as beautiful as her voice. Honestly, if someone had told me it was so, I wouldn't have believed them. I'd have been wrong. This and other songs here are so very different from my first encounters with Ritchie Blackmore's music, Dio Holy Diver, Temple of the King, and Man on the Silver Mountain are all so different than this style and the last 2 are my favorites from long ago. Edit: I would like lyrics though. There are parts I can't understand. My older ears don't work as well as they used to.

This is the song that turned me on to this band. Its a shame that many of Ritchie's Deep Purple & Rainbow fans dont like this band because Ritchie doesnt plug in the strat and turn up the volume.
