This is so OUTRAGEOUS. I looked this up. The owner of that HORRIFIC business pleaded guilty and got a deferred prison sentence and 4 years of probation after pleading guilty!!!! WTF?????😢😢😢😢😢😢

They also had buckets of body parts and one full of male members. Tons of bodies were sewed to all different parts from different people. Big scandal in our state

That is horrifying. Such disrespect for the loved ones of others who think they're doing a good thing. Were there consequences to any of these people besides monetary. It sounds like someone should be going to jail.

My grandmother worked in the mental hospital back in the day and the horror stories that I heard and it was all in acts of science but she said a lot of those men were so pure evil.

This happened in Montrose Colorado. Many of the bodies sold ended being blown up. The funeral home owner just went to jail. It was tragic. Local people I knew, and I knew some of the families.

OMG, this makes me sick...I donated. Y mother's body to science per her request... I hope nothing like that happened to her body. Yet, I know her soul was no longer in that body but still that's horrific that they would treat the deceased like that!😢

The Body Farm at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville was the first facility created to study decomposition of human bodies in different outdoor environments. The pioneering work by Dr. Bass has helped forensics immensely as officials can observe insect activity, lividity, organ decay etc to help solve crimes. It is always appreciated to donate your body but last I heard, The Body Farm had more volunteer cadavers than it can handle.
