Hey Chef Frank, thank you for posting this recipe and the walk through. I made it and it was delicious. I used it as a layer in a trifle that had lemon cake and raspberry curd. The intense dark chocolate helped balance the sweet tanginess of the cake and curd. Appreciate you!

I made this for dessert on Easter Sunday. It was a smash hit! I made whipped cream to go on top, added some chocolate curls and colorful sprinkles for decoration. So yummy!

Surprised you made it with heavy cream, I do it the „italian“ way only eggs, sugar, chocolate and a bit of water. I like both ways but with only eggs i think it’s richer and I can barely eat more than one portion with heavy cream I always overeat 😂 love your way of presenting and joy of cooking 🥰💪🏻 keep going!

At 7:05, that's what we call "Opferschnee" (scarificial snow) in German. :)

When I melt chocolate, I put in the frig and then grate it using the large holes on a box grater. Melts really fast.
