This evening we have the funeral services for my nephew, who passed last week after 15 month battle of cancer he was so strong into his faith. I have never been one to be religious. I like to believe that there’s a God and an afterlife but this morning as I get in my car, I turn on the radio and the song believe by Brooks & Dunn starts playing. It’s gotta be a sign for Micky saying look, I’m OK I’m not in any more pain and I’m here with Jesus. Definitely gave me comfort that was needed.

This is a wonderful Christian song. It needs to be played more often. It's one of Brooks and Dunn's best!!❤

As I sit here listening to this song on Easter Sunday 2024, I beleive God is with me as there's no way I could make it through depression without him.

I lost my dad when I was 13. This song always make me cry. My husband said there’s no heaven…that earth is heaven. I broke down and said “NO, MY HEAVEN IS WITH GOD AND MY DAD. No one can convince me that this it. It cannot end like this. 13 years is not enough time to be with my dad.

My Momma died this past Christmas morning. She had dementia but she knew every single word to this song. She rocked side to side while she sang it. Thank you Brooks and Dunn for our beautiful memories 😭

I was reading the gospel of John yesterday, the part where Jesus healed a man that was sick for years and as I would thinking of this song... "The words written in red." Jesus is Lord, He is the Son of God!!

Don’t know how this is relevant but I worked with an old black man, Sully, in 1985. He was a cook and was a dishwasher at a holiday inn. He didn’t know how old he was but said he was in the Army in WW1. Sully was a world of knowledge. I didn’t know him very well but from what I knew, I loved that old guy. He showed respect to ALL people around him and taught me how to do the same. I left the job and never kept up with him. I wish I had because Sully was a great man. I know he’s with God right now and when it’s my time, I’ll see him again and I will be able to learn from him again!!

My mom died just about 24 hours ago. Tryin' to be strong, holdin' it in. Then I found this while searching for songs to play at her service. This is when I cried.

I'm 62 but have heard this song for years has always struck an emotional nerve with me. By the time the second verse has been sung, I am already weeping. I was raised Jewish, but this song gives me belief that there is Jesus that is bigger than life. Ronnie Dunn may just be one messenger from God to help shine a light from the heavens through this song.

A text from my uncle brought me here. He was murdered in Memphis TN on 4.29.2024 and sent me the text on 1.6.2018 when I was going thru some tough stuff. He was the best guy I knew and will be sorely missed. I struggle with the very things this song is talking about, and I needed to hear this today. God bless you all.

When my father first heard this song, he replayed it over and over and cried so much. As a younger lady I didn't know why. My father knew the Bible without even having to open it up. He struggled with alcoholism and passed away because of it. But before he passed he gave himself to God and repent. I listen to this and can't help but cry because I now know why he would cry while listening to this song. He believed..he believed he was a son of God and he'd be saved spit his addiction. When I hear this I think of him and cry. I miss you so much Dad😭🕊💙

My sis my nephew died last month on the 20th thunder over Louisville. And then my sister passed this month on the 20th that was my nephew will and his mother Marlene. God bless your daughter and miss you rest in peace and bless you and may you find peace knowing she's out suffering. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I pray amen
