My Dad just died tonight. After a long battle with cancer. I can only imagine what he's seeing right now. I'm so happy he's not suffering anymore. Hallelujah, praise our Lord!

I heard this song while in prison. Doing a long stretch, but after hearing this song, WOW, I surrendered, my heart, my soul, my very being. Upon my next parole hearing, I was given not just a date of release but my sentence was completed. Been over twenty years, never seen the inside of a jail since, got married to a wonderful woman who knows where I was & why. A great job, bought a home. What lies ahead, I can only imagine. Thank you Lord.

My dad tragically died in a plane wreck in 2020. This was his favorite song and it was played at his funeral. I just come to listen to it every once in a while. May God bless you all.

I’ve been abusing drugs all my life . I’ve been going to church off and on the past 10 years . I’ve listened to the Word , but never heard the Word. Now in my 50’s and I look back at all the people I have hurt . All the time I took for granted , thinking my loved ones would still be here . I went out yesterday ( Saturday ) and figured I’d get drunk and buy drugs . I felt a thirst , not for alcohol . I drank water . I went to bed last night and prayed. I got up this morning and went to church . During Praise and Worship , I felt the presence of God. Turns out , I wasn’t thirsty for alcohol or Water . I was thirsting for the Word of God . If you are battling addiction , open up your Bible . You need God’s help . You can’t fight the Devil by yourself and win . All Glory and Praise be to God ! Amen

I lost my daughter 9 years ago to ms. She was only 31. She loved this song and we played it at her funeral. It gives me great peace

I was raised Christian. Now that im a little older, im not as religious and ive been struggling to find Jesus. Hearing this song and watching the movie based on it, makes me want to find him again. I’ve lost sight of my king upstairs. This song gives me hope that if i find the lord, my life will work out. Thank you MercyMe and thank you God.

For ten years, I considered myself an atheist. In the last year, things happened to me that I could no longer explain. Earlier this month, my nephew died. On the drive home, I played this song for my wife. As it played, the rain I was driving through stopped and a rainbow came out. At that moment, I felt God reach out to me. Thank you for being a part of the moment when I accepted Jesus back into my heart.

While serving a sentence in jail, I became very curious about God, i had only read a few passages on the outside, so i decided to read as soon as i got locked up. I fell in love with God's words. I only wish i would of cherished them sooner. He paused my life, confined me so that He could be in my life. He was reaching out to me, not the other way around. I don't regret that experience. Put down the TV of hate, and read the book of love!

My life was a life carelessness alcoholism drug addition money addiction and a ton of other junk.Spent a third of my life in a self made and man made prison.But God! But Got ! I found my freedom from all the hurt and pain that I caused and that I experienced.I found true freedom and peace in Jesus Christ and now I'm free! Free in Christ and will never forget where I come from and look forward to where I'm going.THANK YOU JESUS for rescuing me from self....
