Being broke during college that struggle meals became a staple. It was always the most painful feeling of seeing nothing but tumbleweeds in my fridge. Since dad never came back with the milk, dry cereal was quite the staple growing up and having eaten it so much I decided to add water into my cereal.

Sleeping it off was the worst feeling ever😭🙏 if you were lucky, you'd get a watermelon and eat it until you were full if you had enough left to fill you up and I would get so mad at my mom on those nights but now I'm just happy she tried to provide us with food unlike some other parents
