This was about a 3 hour hunt with the Manticore. I managed 6 silver including a barber quarter and dime (not on video)

  • Enjoyed the video, I preordered my Manticore back in December, still waiting to receive it. The probing statement reminded me of watching my uncle detect back in the 80's. All he carried to retrieve his finds was a long flat head screw driver
  • Thanks for a fun hunt. I really miss hunting parks. Its horrible trying to find a spot here in South Carolina. Thanks again I appreciate getting to see it.
  • I hope you do more videos. If you do can you explain more in detail how you have your machine set up

New sub here! Really good hunt with a lot of great information. I wish there were some way to determine if its a nail or not.

Great video, just subscribed !!!! Do you have a chart for the manticore and signals ? Is so please share. We can all learn for you. Thanks.
  • it was nice to hear my old friends out having fun together, next time i will crash the party lol.looks like you are getting more comfortable with the beast.still want to get your thoughts on it compared to your old 800[ which i still think was on steroids]you are still the master silver finder out there in my humble opinion.
  • My yard was hunted out too but found lots of targets with a cheaper detector you buy then new will wait till their used 800.00 is my limit
  • Why isn't there a way to tell if it's a nail? Seems like all machines get fooled..even the 2000 dollar ones..

Double beep surface low conductor at 2:48. Could have been the gold cross.
  • Which sound profile were you using? Do you look at the 2D graph when you are over a target? It seems like you know your target IDs pretty well for having a new machine. Great hunt!

Is The Depth Gage Fairly Accurate on The Manticore……..Thanks for sharing

I know this might sound sycastic but why would you buy a 2000 dollar detector to detect a park, surely a nox 600 would do the same job!.
