    Everyone loves a good "kicked out of the party" storyline but my biggest problem with Beast Tamer is he was essentially halfassing throughout his time in the party. He's able to form contracts with high level beasts and monsters and gain powers from it but not only does he not use his abilities until he's forced to but it is implied he was aware that he at least had the potential yet never even tried. Imagine a guy with a dagger he uses poorly suddenly revealing he's a bowman capable of bullseyeing targets and splitting arrow shafts, that's the best way to describe this story at least from my POV. Banished from the Hero's Party gave us an MC who's seemingly unknown skills are unknown for a good reason. It's ironic that the Beast Tamer is kicked out because he doesn't carry his weight and interestingly the charge isn't entirely incorrect he is capable of doing much more yet never even thought to try until he was booted.
