Of all the videos on YouTube 99.9% of the time I have no idea where they are from. The one I look up today for clutch noise just happens to be in my town lol I was like hey we've got a titan tire..then I was like HEyyy that's a&j. Damn this guy lives here. Good video. Mine is a 2017. At idle it's not terrible but when the clutch is pressed.... it's LOUDDD! like people looking like wtf is wrong with your truck loud.

I just completed the same clutch swap in my truck. The noise at idle and 5th gear drives me nuts. I changed the fluid in mine from transmission fluid to Hot Shot's Secret G56. It helped with the noise but didn't make it go away. My fluid needed changed so it was a good thing that I would not have done.

nice install..the dmf dampens all the vibration from the cummins. I have a south bend single disk . How many miles did u have on the truck when u removed the dmf?

How you like the clutch now that its been a few years? No issues going right in to 1st or reverse? Looks like it was shiting nice & smooth in the video.

Is that a safe jacking point on the front axle tube near the diff?? obviously worked for you?? I need to do the same grt my g56 out from underneath the truck.

Was the shake at 60-70 from the DMF? Good now? Mine does the same

I just picked up pretty much the same truck with the G56. Just about has the same miles to. I was curious if you got yours for over 20 or under 20,000? If you don't mind. If you do no big deal. That canopy definitely improves the look!

im at 32k miles with my 17 g56. pulling my small TT that is 3500# it slips when i try to get up to speed and also in 6th when going up a hill. if i get on it without a TT it will slip in 3rd. need to buy this clutch soon. How do you like it so far?

Did it get rid of your vibration around 60mph?

I can’t believe the local shop of mine that I was about to allow to charge me $400 to change out the hydraulic slave cylinder just for labor. That is absurd but yet they only want $200 to install the banks monster ram intake system now that is a damn steel lmao. They do want $600 to change out the fuel pump I think it should be two to $300 because of how easy it is. My grandpa died two weeks ago and we are going to drive 5000 miles to go travel and those are the things that our truck needs before long distance trip $1100 I’ll pass I will pay the 200 though LOL and I’ll do the rest myself
