For the winter holidays, I'm escaping north for 10 days to spend some time abroad in Phuket, Thailand. Before I make my way overseas, I'm flying down to Sydney for my connection to Sydney. This flight was very smooth and efficient, which is a far cry from what Jetstar's reputation has made them out to be. Come along with me and see how Jetstar was able to pull off such a flight!

A little history on our Aircraft (VH-VGJ) -
Victor Golf Juliet (VGJ) rolled off the production line at Toulouse n primer with the Jetstar tail in September 2010. It entered onto the Australian register as VH-VGJ on October 5th, and flew to Hamburg for interior fit-out in Mid-October. It completed one test flight at Toulouse before being ferried to Australia via Dubai and Singapore, landing in Melbourne (Tullamarine) on October 30th. It completed it's first revenue service two days later to Newcastle as JQ476.
