  • "And now I'm here. Take that, duck" It was an underappreciated line.

I remember being set up on a blind date with a girl just like her. And I've been married to her for 22 yrs now. And every day she finds a way to crack me up.

She's soo good about sensing the comedy potential mid-speaking and making directional changes in the story-telling! And... making it look not as intentional as it is!
  • I think she's amazingly funny. And the strange thing is she authentically is funny without trying to be. A true gift to the world she is!

That perfect comedic timing when she answered his question if she's on any medication just made me laugh to tears. 🤣
  • How she keeps a straight face is so funny in itself.. Her humor is brilliant. Crazy funny..

She is truly a treasure. Love watching any interview she’s done

At 01:35 It's true "A Place To Be Somebody" is definitely on a wooden sign as you enter Wilmington, DE. :)

This interview has one amazing moment in it that I'd like to highlight: the audience laughs at almost everything Aubrey Plaza says whether she's trying to be funny or not, and then when she mentions that she had a stroke at a young age, there's perfect silence from an audience that is at a comedy show and is primed to laugh. Everyone in that audience in that one moment decided to care instead of just laughing. That was beautiful.

    OmG i laughed sooo hard "she's not 16, she's 20" hilarious

This girl is such a joy. I love her humour and attitude…..well, her public one. I can’t imagine her being wrung out strung out and tense
  • @PhoenixHinds
I have always enjoyed how she presents herself in interviews.

8:56 Look how pleased she looks after making Dave genuinely laugh. You know you're funny when Dave thinks you're funny.
  • I love this girl. Her twisted sense of humor is so much like my own. But she has the added gift of being a very quick wit. I can't help loving it.
  • Her ability to play the 'Straight person' in any scene is absolutely brilliant.

She's freakin hilarious! What a gem from Delaware, "a great place to be somebody".
  • Aubrey's always hilarious. But when she got a big laugh from just taking a drink of her water, she reached another level.
  • The stroke she had sounds seriously terrifying, it would be really hard not to live in fear of it happening again. I’m so glad she recovered and that she’s open to share her experience. It’s no wonder she’s so universally beloved, everyone loves an open book with no contrivances.
