My uncle went into cardiac arrest back in 2017 after singing in a concert. He died right there backstage. One of the most heartbreaking moments I’ve ever experienced. So this I know very well cause I’ve seen it 🥺 I pray that Hamlin recovers and the Lord will give him grace to continue his journey on earth.

As a family member who has witnessed a loved one go into cardiac arrest right in front you, it is a pretty terrifying and traumatic experience. My heart goes out to Damar's mother, rest of his family and teammates.

Thank God for the staff and for AEDs. They are miracle devices and have saved a lot of lives since becoming available. Prayers for a quick and complete recovery for Damar.

Hopefully he pulls through. Let's hope he makes a full recovery. I've seen 2 soccer players pull through the same thing so fingers crossed

Just imagine the traumatic events those players witnessed and heard when the paramedics did CPR and used the AED for 10 minutes. They watched a man suffer a heart attack and struggle to be revived on national tv. That specific moment will undoubtly stick with them for the rest of their days

Man I’ve heard stories in the nba of players collapsing on the court and then to see this it’s just so unfortunate to hear this truly and my prayers to his family. The pain they going through I don’t want to even imagine ❤️

Having witnessed this a few times in soccer, and more recently with Christian Eriksen in Euro 2020, I cried this morning when i read the news. Prompt recover brother. This has nothing to do in particular with the physicality of American football. It could have occurred without a contact. Many such fatalities happened in soccer.

Please include father's when speaking about victims families. They often are forgotten about, his parents are married.
