XC GUIDE: Flying a 120 km triangle in Bassano on a paraglider

Published 2023-10-15
In this how-to video, I explain how to fly "un classico di Bassano" - the standard 120 km triangle in Bassano del Grappa. Watch the video to get many hints about the route, the key spots, and the options you have during the flight. Maybe I can inspire you for this Italian adventure, and we will meet in the air over Bassano!

One of the best and useful paragliding videos I've seen! Thanks for making it. I put this route on my para-bucket-list.
  • Maybe the best tutorial video about flying around Bassano. Thanks Dmitry, sending you coffee.
  • @jakubvranacz
This is one of the best paragliding videos out there. Please consider preparing similar tutorials from other places.

Very useful video for newbies, to be sure. It sure makes it easier to learn how to fly flights like this when you can see the whole thing as a video ahead of time. Back when I started flying cross country in the 1980s, we had no cell phones, no digital video, no GPS, and no one to show us what to do.we had to figure it out for ourselves. The learning curve was pretty steep.

Thank you! I absolutely love this video. So clear, so informative. I've been trying to fly from Bassano to Garda lake for two years now, without success so far. I've bombed out shortly after the Schio crossing. With the help of this video, I'm sure I'll get further next time! Any chances you might do such video?😉
  • Wow, excellent video with lots of information and instructions. Definitely at the top of my top 5 paragliding videos to watch. I don't know the part towards Schio and I'm a little too cautious to take your "leave the climb, you have a lot of height" advice, but even for a turning point much earlier than your, this is a very valuable video. Congratulations.
