Published 2024-05-28
Have you ever felt like your hormones were off? Or wondered why your menstrual cycle is irregular? Have you experienced painful periods? If so, you're not alone.

In today’s episode, I’m sitting down with entrepreneur and founder of My Happy Flo, Necole Kane for an insightful conversation on how menstrual and hormonal health can affect your overall well-being. From what a healthy period looks like, to what to expect when you come off of birth control, Necole shares tips for managing period symptoms, embracing holistic remedies, and understanding the stages of your menstrual cycle.

Together, we talk about Necole’s career journey from media to wellness, her experiences as an entrepreneur, and how’s she found balance in her life starting from the inside out.

We also talk about…

- Necole’s transition from media entrepreneur to supplement brand founder
- Signs that it’s time to make a professional pivot
- How hormonal imbalances can impact daily life
- Navigating conditions like fibroids and endometriosis
- The relationship between our hormones, gut health, and liver health
- Maintaining healthy hormones while entering perimenopause
- Embracing ease and flow in your daily life

  • I remember Necole and the infamous Necole B*tchie blog. It’s amazing to see her pivot like this, especially into a wellness brand.

As someone who is recovering from a myomectomy to remove a 15cm fibroid, I really resonated with this episode. Thank you Les for shedding light on this topic!!
  • Wow what an awesome episode! Happy to be introduced to the women behind so much! I love how she said she was giving herself grace we need to do that more. On my journey of healing from fibroids this conversation of balancing our hormones is so important and I’m glad more women are talking about this topic (our cycles). I didn’t know she started My Happy Flo I’ve seen so much about them!

I just started checking out balanced black girl as a support for my beautiful bride… I want her to enjoy her life! I’m a concerned husband. Is there a place for me to learn how to support my wife with this whole video’s subject matter! Wow 🤯 so much happening in there! But PRAISE GOD ❤… I began tracking my wife’s period to know how she’s feeling during the times… it’s a lot, but how can I support her without hovering? Like introducing healthy habits to help her and me at the same time. She has fibroids, had partial hysterectomy in her 20s and masses removed from both breasts over time. I know we need to change things but not sure how to help in something I know very little about and without offending her. She’s very busy in her career, I’m T1D… I would like to learn a better way.

Thank you for having this important conversation, so many women would benefit from this supplement. I have had issues with severe PMS so I can relate to what she was saying about the depression and suicidal thoughts and saving relationships. Taking a probiotic daily is really important for overall health. Great conversation! Thank you ❤

I've followed Necole since the Necole Bitchie, I love to see her progress. I remember her saying, when she shut down Necole Bitchie, that she wanted to give back in some way. It's great to see her living her dream. ❤
