Barbados radar animation showing the Carriacou Island landfall in the Windward Islands on July 1, 2024 of Cat 4 hurricane Beryl while sporting sustained winds of 150 MPH . The storm cost over one billion dollars in damages there and on the surrounding islands, and at least 8 people were killed.
