I think it is a useful product. You can say it does not solve a big enough problem and it is true. But in the professional aspect like builders it can be very important not so much for hobbyist or DIYers. The issue with this pitch was they went at it wrong they can not make a big company out of a single small complementary product. What they should have done was to either give their IP to a big hardware company and receive royalties or sell it to multiple hardware companies to pair it with their tape measures. Either way would be more beneficial and profitable. They would not have to spend money on marketing just get one or two big deals and earn a handsome amount of money.
  • Remember what they all said when wheels started showing up on suitcases....just a fad...look now.

It's not like a paperclip, i see the product, think it's quite smart, and am gonna 3d print it for myself. Good luck stopping the chinese from doing the same with those patents.
  • Sometimes the most simple things are the best ones. Take q-tips. Floss sticks. Hundreds more.

Not a big enough problem to solve. The invention was very incremental and not something that really makes a difference. I can easily use my eyes to see and recall marks on the measuring tape. I don't see why would anybody buy it.

The sad part here is it is NOT a good product, like stated it's a paper clip, so go grab a paper clip, small or big which ever you like OR get a pack of binder clips at the dollar store and have multipurpose item. So this is just garbage really, sad state when they can win awards with it lol Should I mention most phones can meause for you at this point
