After last year's KILLER movie, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, we predicted movie studios would be doing a lot more horror movies based on Disney characters. Why? Well, remember, copyright on Winnie the Pooh, Bambi, and other intellectual property expire after 100 years. So with Mickey Mouse (Steamboat Willie) and Bambi joining the public domain this year, we wanted to see just how good of a horror movie villain Mickey would be. Will Mickey's Mousetrap be the scariest movie of all time? Or could any of his friends be more terrifying?

The real reason Goofy would be the most terrifying. That Freaking LAUGH. In a horror context. Chills
-
I honestly think Donald Duck could work as a horror movie character. He’s in the navy at one point, so that works make for an interesting plot point.
-
3:20 Donald Duck, ex-vet, haunted, paranoid, crazy, impulsive, often resorts to violent methods, suffers from ptsd, attempted suicide, was starving to death and was willing to become cannibal to get by. Perfect character already, no need to even go of script with his character, what he already presented would made him excellent horror character.
-
Goofy could also work for shameless sequels. Like, imagine “Son of Goofy”
-
as one of those kids who was obsessed with disney character horror, ive never been more happy that film theory made a video on this. THANK YOU LEE!
-
Oswald’s already getting a horror movie, it’s called Oswald: Down the Rabbit Hole.
-
Surprised to see Goofy emerging as the front runner. Loved the breakdown of each character's potential, really adds a fun twist to these iconic figures.
-
"there hasn't really been a horror villain with weaponized luck" LEPRECHAUN: am I a joke to you?
-
Some additional missed info for Oswald is the fact that he can remove body parts at any time and shape them into any necessary tool
-
Don't forget they're also making a horror version of Peter Pan and Pinocchio. In the same universe as Winnie-the-Pooh, and Bambi. To be fair a horror version of Peter Pan would be great

honestly, I think goofy would work good as his silly self too. imagine the horror you'd feel upon realizing how long you've been laughing at the silly things he's failing with, only to see a wicked grin on his face as he just KEEPS ON FAILING till you lose air laughing too long, because you just can't help yourself.
-
That feel when you bring up Oswald but fail to mention the fact that he can detach his limbs, fly with his ears like a helicopter or even the many dark themes and elements that were introduced in Epic Mickey, like the Storm Blot or the fact that Oswald wanted to steal Mickey's heart and leave him stranded in a forgotten wasteland so that he could go back and take the spotlight after having lived in the mouse's shadow for so many years. Also, Oswald definitely has a cult following. He may not be mainstream popular but ain't totally forgotten and he has the potential to shine back in the limelight if only Disney would advertise him more often. I know I'm always rooting for the little rabbit.

The Goofy part where you brought up the distrust of neighbor element made me think of the cartoon segment called Motor Mania where Goofy is a normal everyday person but when he gets behind the wheel of his car he undergoes a Jekyll-and-Hyde-like change in personality and becomes violent and vindictive to everyone else on the road.
-
The scariest thing about this video was that they defined Skibidi Toilet as the "new childhood"
-
When I read the title I thought it was going to be a deep-dive into the lore of Mickey, revealing his dark past, like Food Theory did for Captain Crunch. Still a good video.
-
Lee may not be Matpat but he’s definitely cooking🔥
-
wait, so Mickey and Donald can be called by their first names, but George has to be called by a corruption of his last name? heh...
-
Most scary disney character: PeterPan. He is already a known kidnapper who traps children on an island where they cant age or escape.
-
imagine crossing goofy and you just hear “you done goofed up” and he murders you, absolutely perfect
