YouTube deleted this MS660 Chainsaw video

I’ve got a Holzfforma G660, could be the same saw but regardless it’s a damn good saw. I run it on a mill also and she just rips and gets the job done. I could not justify the $2000.00 price tag for a brand name Stihl.

Does it have a compression relief for starting? What did you do about the bar that came with it that seemed to have too much friction? Can you add the specs, displacement, etc. to the info below? RichE

i have thought about buying a kit to build , just to see how they stack up against genuine stihl items , if i do i will upload a build vid of the saw , and my thoughts of the kits ,

I just had a quick look on alibaba. Is there more than one manufacturer or just a bunch of distributers for these saws?

you can just pull it over like that? I'm having trouble with mine, especially since the big bore upgrade the valve pops just from spinning over will a Stihl valve help or do I need to mod that?

The chinese copies are old stihl design, probably with stihl's old tooling. The newer Stihl products are made and sold worldwide and they have a new factory in China. You can google it. The Stihl factory has more stringent specifications, and quality control. Their adds say built in America not made in america. The 070 copies are new antiques. The Stihl name are ground out of the casting but the part numbers are still there. The coil says Stihl and made in Italy. The carburetor made in Denmark. You can buy what you want with your money.

Bought a brand new Husqvarna $700 chainsaw the Bucking spike mounting bracket broke so the pros and cons just because it's chinese-made does it mean it's junk they make good product

Decent saw . See no problem with it that u tube would have complained. Oh well. Your daughter is a real sweetheart. Saw sounded mean. Good luck with it.

On a hard nose bar you need to leave a little slack in the chain, not as tight as a sprocket nose bar.

How is the Ms 660 doing by now?

How has the 660 held up? Any issues?

I own a few stihls....this sounds pretty close to the real deal.
