This trilogy is honestly one of my favourite pieces of art of all time. Was lucky enough to see it live and its such a weird atmosphere, people are moshing and crowd surfing while others are crying, some doing both
  • I am not ashamed to admit it, everytime i hear this trilogy, I tear up. Stay strong gents.
  • I love how these songs encapsulate the 3 stages of grief. First we are sad, then we are angry, and then finally we just kinda give up and accept.
  • This trilogy is the best music ever made in deathcore imo, both lyrically and musically it’s just perfect
  • @TheGamingWard
This trilogy is my go-to "I'm overwhelmed. Time for a self inflicted cry."

As with most, "a world without you isn't meant for me" just sends me.

Remember lads. Emotions are fine. Feel your shit, cry if you need to, it's HEALTHY, not a hindrance.

This is one of the most beatiful songs there is, and it happens ot be a deathcore ballad..
  • I had to remove these songs from most of my playlists, because if they came on while I was driving or riding I couldn't see the road through my tears

This trilogy seriously pulled me through some of the most depressing moments I've had to deal with. Almost every lyric just hit some part of my soul in a cathartic way. Love this trilogy so much and love seeing so many different reactions to it. Everyone should experience it in my opinion 🤘

Sometimes art transcends commentary and just needs to be experienced...really enjoyed your raw reaction...this isnt typically a genre people associate with this level of emotional impact. And as tough as the subject matter of the videos are, i know for me, being someone who has lost a close family member to the effects of inner turmoil on this scale, i find it comforting to see that it is becoming less and less taboo to talk about publicly. Seeing yourself in someone elses story can be a very powerful thing. As far as i am concerned, this masterpiece is a gift to the world, as sad as it is.

Almost 2 years on and every time I watch these I get teary. These guys made the ultimate loss trilogy. And sadly it shows that for some you can't go on

Pain remains is by far the best album of 2022!
It makes my metalheart proud,to see it touched so many people, including you.

Took a painstaking 8 hours to put the subtitle version together with better transitions. Mainly since my program kept having a stroke.

But I love how it's being spread around, reacted to, and related with.

The trilogy truly is something special.

I went to an indoor metal festival Nov 23. Where Lorna Shore played. I only knew those three songs by them and decided to watch their set anyway. Hearing this trilogy live, back to back was something else. I went home as a fan. Such a surreal experience.
Their set was approx. 75 min. I had goosebumps the whole time!

I honestly think most of us are perfectly fine with just enjoying the piece with you and don't feel like you "had to talk for the sake of it". I remember how it felt to listen to this for the first time and it brings some form of comfort to make that feeling a shared (even if hasynchronous) experience. This felt very honest and I'm glad I spent 30 minutes watching it.
  • @GrassTroll
So many people split the songs up into separate reactions, and will even wait like a week between each one, and it really does ruin it imo. They’re meant to be taken as one singular work. Glad you did the whole thing in one sitting, it REALLY does make it into a true work of art.
  • @chriso6719
Hard to headbang if you pay attention to the lyrics and the video. Never easy to lose someone. Title tracks to the 2022 album, first record with Will on vocals.
  • @ricknesar1627
In my world Pain Remains II and Sun//Eater are tied as best Lorna songs
  • @Aaron1893
One of the most powerful videos I’ve seen in general. Gets me every time.

Really weird i find this trilogy for the first time now. He said the story is about a lucid dream where he meets the girl of his dreams and makes his perfect world with her. But when he wakes up shes just a depressing fleeting memory. Then realizes it doesnt mean anything so he destroys it by burning it down.

I have lucid dreams almost every night. I also have a world with reoccurring characters i interact with, women who love me. And when i wake up, its back to reality... Ill spend like an hour just lingering on what occurred over night feeling a mix of depression and happiness. I dont know if this is something Will has experienced personally, or its just a story, but this is such a reality for me i didnt think anybody else could ever relate with these kind of experiences. People know i lucid dream, but i have never told anybody the extent of it.
