You might have seen our recent video on the Pakistani economy. In the video, we discussed the various reasons that for the crisis in Pakistani economy. India, on the other hand, is doing much despite the stresses of Covid. But you might be surprised to know that there was a time when Pakistan had a better economy than India, with Pakistan’s GDP per capita significantly higher than India in the early 1980s. Today, however, India has far outpaced Pakistan’s growth. How has that happened? As we’ll see in this video, it’s a fascinating assortment of reasons, all of which we have discussed in detail.

Things to learn : Never mix religion in politics. 🇮🇳
  • Our former PM Manmohan Singh ji, has been very underappreciated as a finance minister*❤️

Being a Pakistani i am really thankful to you for bringing this topic in eyes without any biased opinions. You have said facts and yes we destroyed Pakistan and still doing the same.. hope one day we Indians and Pakistani can live peacefully
  • @TheVickychugh
India is doing great now thanks to the leader like Manmohan Singh now Narender Modi sir ❤❤❤
  • @thinkfinity1
Being a Pakistani we are really ashamed of what we have done and why our politicians are just destroying our beloved country 😭😭
  • Another reason for their economic boom in the 60's was Bangladesh or the erstwhile East Pakistan. They took our wealth and fed their people. East Bengal or East Pakistan contributed to 62% of the government revenue of Pakistan and got roughly 25% in return. After 1971, there was no 'East Pakistan' to exploit.

As a Pakistani, I (and many others) appreciate you making this video.
  • Hi. I'm from Pakistan 🇵🇰 and I must appreciate your video because you were completely focused on the topic without being biased towards Pakistan. Haven't seen even a little hate but totally facts without being bitter and insulting which mostly Indians done. Keep doing nice work man. Awesome 👌 👏 👍

Maturity is when u realize that India was the richest country in the world before 15century😢
  • @minimaist
Soviet invasion of Afghanistan played a pivotal role in terror factories in Pakistan, while Soviet collapse played a pivotal role in making india to move into to a market economy. Both the South Asian economies were influenced by the West vs Communist geopolitics, even till this date.
  • I don't know why Indians just simply credit Mr.Manmohan Singh for all the things ( which of course he had his role)..but no body talks about the great and the most underrated prime minister of india Dr.PV Narasimha Rao..if u just read about him (best book is "the half lion" ) u will understand what sort freaking genius that man was..he was a visionary and action oriented personality..just because he lacks charisma doesn't mean he don't deserve any credits..all due respect to the spine behind all the 1991 reforms..🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏🏻
  • Well, I am pursuing economics and I'm in 12th, this video touched new economic policies and India, China, Pakistan chapters of ncert, with detailed explanation. I just gave mcqs test of those questions whose answers I have got from here. So informational, keep it up!!

Hi Mohak, I'm from Pakistan. I've seen tons of videos made by Indian Youtubers taking current situations of Pakistan as a boost to their Channels. All of them have used a harsh language and slang words for their neighboring and were seen happy for what its been going through these days, like if jese unpr to kudh sada bahar rhy gi. I really appreciate the way you've conveyed the knowledge in your video keeping both countries equal.
  • @artixto
As a Pakistani, I have found your research on a basis of fact and figures and whatever you said apart from political differences, are right. Military coup and bad policies have been major enemy of Pakistan's economy.
  • As a Pakistani Student we must work hard like indian students. Love from Pakistan.
  • @Voices4Change
Pakistani here. This is an excellent video. Extremely well researched and without any political bias.
