haha, I love Sam immediately bursting into a Pie style rant.
  • @butters1273
For those of us who loved Pie since his humble beginnings, it's awesome to see him make it this far!
  • @Somedude603
great to progress Jonathan into duo conversations, makes it fresh, I think Sam is great and will only get better with time.
  • @MadeByMartyn
Sam and Jules are amazing characters in a superb dramatisation. Great stuff.
  • @carrroad
This needs a full tv series, the radio series was excellent.
  • @brianpark8758
Brilliant. Poor guy, Pie wasn't listening to a word he was saying. He even said, "I wish I never asked now!" šŸ˜‚

Absolutely love Tom. When he does Johnathan Pie he's allowed himself to say what we are all thinking, but haven't the balls to say. Keep going Tom. Every time you do a rant, for me, it's like taking the cap off the pressure cooker that I am after hearing Sunak chastise us the British public.

Sam is a legend, letā€™s have more of him!
  • Classic Pie! Sam is "the man in the street" for this hard hitting short segment. Excellent rant. More Sam, please!

Spot on!!! The thing is I love this country. Iā€™m 3rd generation British. Itā€™s disgusting to say but I feel some sort of pride in that. That Iā€™m not an immigrant, Iā€™m one of the ā€œok onesā€. Itā€™s bullshit and I need to do the work. But I AM. In the eyes of everyone else they see me as an immigrant because Iā€™m non-white. This rainy, cold, grey, generally bad vibes island is my home. For every ā€œmonkeyā€ and ā€œn****rā€ and p*** Iā€™ve had, for every micro aggressions Iā€™ve encountered and being mistaken for ā€œthe toilet ladyā€ (COUNTLESS TIMES BTW) thereā€™s the universal ā€œAYYYYYā€ when someone breaks a glass or the ā€œyorrite?ā€ and awkward smile that we all know and love. Its the rage at 55p Freddos. Itā€™s being able to scream Mr Brightside word for word while not knowing a lick of the national anthem. We know our washing machines live longer with Calgon. Itā€™s become clearer and clearer this is my HOME but I donā€™t love my country and my country doesnā€™t love me and it never did.
  • More episodes. 10 wasn't enough !!! I love the episode where he explains to Sam that he's not treating him poorly because of his heritage, but because it's a shitty job and he had to go through the same shit. If you haven't watched all of them, you should.
  • Young Sam hit the nail on the head there! My wife is from Asia and the amount of Racism she has received over the years is pretty disgusting.
  • Sounds a bit like this idea that's in Conservative circles in the US called "pulling the ladder up behind you". We've got women, speaking at conferences called TPUSA (Turning Point USA), where college-age Conservative women are told, by wealthy professional Conservative women (often unmarried, and/or w/o children), that the best place for a Conservative Woman is at home as a wife and mother.
  • Priceless observation and delivery Mr Pie. If only it weren't true...
  • @maryfenton958
Marvellous as ever. Sam's rant was great. Pye' s disdain was perfect.... more please.
  • Best Podcast available!!! Binged it twice!!!! Absolute CLASS! ā¤
  • Love the way Pie (Tom Walker) has handed the rant over to Sam here, much more punch then Pie doing it.
  • Jokes aside, absolutely spot on. Money and power changes people so much so that they forget their roots
