Fun fact: the Terminator 2 death scene when you fall into lava in the DOOM remake is still a thing in DOOM Eternal, it's just harder to see because instead of one shotting it slowly drains your shields and plus it takes ages to eat through your extra lives

8:10 Omg yes the little details in the canteen are my favorite and I love how each palico has their own special set of animations and how when ordering food, you get more and more food as you progress in the story along with different cooking animations. ❤

You could probably make a whole video with just the little details in all the Metal Gear Solid games. One of my favorite ones is in 3 when you fall into the dark cave. It's nearly pitch black but after a few minutes Snake's eyes adjust and you're able to see somewhat.

8:27 there's a similar mechanic in Skyrim. If you find tree stumps, usually around mills, there's a particular stump that's sort of larger than the others and has a lighter colored top, like it was a large tree that has recently been cut down. While the detail is a bit simpler (they're literally just sliding across the surface, no movement animation whatsoever), you can actually see ants traveling across the surface, top and sides. Which is kind of neat and that adds to the whole inhabited world you're playing in. There's other insects, sure, but you can easily see them. Ants, on the other hand, nobody really goes looking for them because they prove no use to us in our adventures. They're just a tiny detail that gets overlooked by 95% of players

I would see the doom terminator so much, I use to try and get the shield and about every time I would fall in the lava. but I did get the shield after 12 or more times.
