On our small dairy farm, all of our manure from our barn goes to a holding lagoon. Once a year, we hire a great group of guys to spread that manure onto our fields. It's a smelly job, but someone has to do it right? Well, it's that time of the year. Marten's Farm Inc. gets right to work! With their fleet of New Holland Tractors and Monster Pump, the work goes fast. The manure lagoon is stirred to break up any dry areas, then the manure is pumped through hoses up to a tractor that injects the manure into the ground while discing it in. It's a great fertilizer for our corn.

That swivel boom out the back of the slurry aplicator is a brilliant idea.. I was thinking hows he gunna turn at the headland without driving over that pipe or getting it caught up in the tractor somehow, but it just swivels around out of the way.. Genius !!!

Wow, that was amazing. The spray system reminded me of the monitors that the gold mining corporations used to flush gold from the california hills. This time it flushes gold into the fields. A much smarter and responsible idea. You guys are so enjoyable to learn from. All the best!
