We live in southeastern Illinois on a 41 acre homestead. We just finished building our log cabin in 2018. Now we are focused on trying to grow our own food and raise livestock. Follow us on our journey we continue to develop our homestead and farm, while becoming more self sufficient.

Good video Evan. Looks like you are enjoying yourself. Keeping busy, keeps us sane.

I think the safest place to be right now is on a farm, growing your own produce. That was the case back in the depression years. Nothing thrown away and nothing wasted and yet the people were happy. Best inovations and the kitchen appliances lasted a long time. They were worth fixing because they were so well made. It brough a lot of people together out of necessity.

Daily mixture vids are perfect, you see things gain every day, the inside look of your daily lives is the interesting parts, your thoughts, working through problems. keep up the good work.

Regarding sprinklers, not today, but run a water pipe underground to the pond, T off it at garden, run it up the fence and permanently mount the sprinkler heads on top of the fence.

I don’t know about anyone else but I really enjoyed this video!!!!
  • Wave 👋 from Minnesota 😎❄️☃️🏂❤ love the Homestead projects. Yes, i agree to keep all the mishaps or broken items to hang on the wall 🧱😁☝️👏😎🚜❤
  • We are here for the little odd jobs! “Evan, take us with you around the farm.” 😂
  • The video graphic content and quality is way beyond all others channels. Early morning light and the filters you use brings forth the richness of what’s in the view finder. Adding the drone footage is the cherry on top! Great job I hope other viewers appreciate the quality! Stay Farmer Strong and safe! You can wash down the pipes with tri sodium phosphate or TSP it’s alkaline.

The best part of my day, a new video from Country View Acres!!!
  • Evan, the best thing about your videos, especially today's videos, is your body language and facial expressions are showing that you are enjoying what you are doing. Don't worry about what we think as long as you are doing what you want, when you want. Thanks for another good video.
