To this day this is my favorite movie of Lawrence Fishburn's. Even more than The Matrix, if I saw him in real life I'd call him Socrates instead of Morpheus.

Watched this almost by accident. What an excellent movie! It gradually hooks you in, and after 20 minutes you're living it. You forget Laurence Fishburne is acting - a sure sign of how good he is in this.

Rewatching this classic. This is a gem of a movie. Fishburne is such a top notch actor, it's wild he's been acting since a kid. The earliest was in, "Cornbread and Earl" wowsers time flies.

This kinda remind ya of the blaxplotation era and the great70's and 80's most underrated actors and talent the narrator voice is unparalleled blessed to have experienced those times.

Great movie... the fact that the man wanted redemption so bad even almost anyone of them characters in the movie reminds him of himself and he hates that but somehow manages to gain his redemption... thatโs why this movie is so great.
