I’ll never get over how DK was ever able to change the channel back on his one-button TV remote.
  • Never in my life would I think we would have this cutscene fully animated. Major W for this remake, Nintendo ❤

If Nintendo actually make those Mini Mario toys, I will buy them all!
  • @Choctopus
I’m glad DK’s bananas are safe.
  • I like how the cutscenes are animated Nintendo truly did a bang-up job with it Also like how Mario says actual words and not unintelligible gibberish

As this is gonna be one of the last games w/Charles' Mario voice, I wanna say "thank you" to Charles for just being an amazing voice actor

I like how the constantly repeating “Buy them all!” implies that DK was originally going to legally purchase every Mini Mario he could get his hands on. But because the one toy store was sold out he just resorts to robbery instead.

I'm shocked and slightly relived that they didn’t cut out the "MMM BANANAS" bit. 😂

Seriously would love to see a movie with this animation style
  • I love how this opening basically represents amiibo hunters during the 2010's. I am partially guilty of being one of those people, lol

This animation is simply incredible. Can you imagine a Mario Tv show with these visuals? Nintendo, you really gotta do it.

Thank you, Nintendo software technology for bringing this amazing franchise to life!

Finally. “They’re forty dollars” in crisp HD audio
  • I love that this remake is keeping the original voice lines from the original game. Most people would call that cheap and lazy, but the original game had some of Martinet’s best material and I can’t wait to hear it all fully decompressed.
  • This is so fulfilling to see these cutscenes fully realized. It's like I'm seeing something I've known since I was a kid for the first time again. Thank you, Nintendo.

OMG!!!! I remember this beat by beat of how it starts up in this cutscene! And to see it fully animated makes me cry alittle by how pretty it looks now!!
