I love how you can tell that they learned to love shiny objects because of olimar. ever after how traumatizing the bottle was, the red pikmin still wanted to claim the marble. its so adorable

Pikmin is such an underappreciated gem of a series.

I love it when the intro of the game's ending theme comes in! Also the way they rescue that poor red one is so Pikmin-ish. They cannot do much by themselves but they cooperate each other and find the way out. So adorable. Love the video.

I want this to be a show

I can just imagine this being something that a nature documentary is filmed over “Here the wild pikmin shows it’s innovative abilities, using the natural resources at hand” 1:25 though initially failing in reaching the bottle, the red pikmin are determined creatures, and so he tries again. 3:48: the blue pikmin appears to have come up witha solution!.... it seems to be proposing to fill the bottle up with water, to rise the pikmin out of the bottle....... But alas, other pikmin cannot swim, thus the plan isn’t viable and they will have to think up a new idea 5:25 now it is here, the pikmin displays its greatest strength as a species.... the ability to unite and work together towards a common goal, in perfect synchronized harmony.

These shorts are so wholesome, it's just the pikmin running around everywhere and it's the best

7 years later and these shorts are still so visually impressive, especially the lighting and distortion in the bottle, and the little smudges of dirt and rust

I find it super sweet how much they all care for each other. The three lil Pikmin all stayed there determined to help their sibling and then called a whole band of Pikmin to join hands and form a rope just to fish him out. 😭 I neeeeed more shorts where we can see the Pikmin interacting and get a feel of their personalities! And God do I need ones of the Hococates and Kopopites 😭 especially Olimar interacting with them
