Baking Soda 1/2 cup
Citric Acid 1/4 cup
*you can purchase at most speciality food or ethnic grocery stores or online

Epsom Salt (or sea salt) 1/4 cup
Castor Oil (or any vegetable oil) 3 tsp
Essential Oil 1 tsp
Soap or Food Coloring
Water 1 tbs (this amount can vary slightly depending on the humidity level where you live)
Soap Molds (you can find at any craft store)

I tried it with castor oil but my kids hated the sticky feeling when they got out of the bath, so now I use coconut oil instead & they seem to like it much much better.👍🏼

This is the best bath bomb recipe that I have used so far. There are 2 things that made them turn out well for me: spraying the liquid ingredients does make a difference. Also , I did not realize that citric acid comes in a fine powdered form. This works really well for me because I can pack the mixture in a lot tighter. Mine turn out perfectly after sitting in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Thanks for the great recipe!
